Here you can view some of my best photos of Prežganje and Janče, two villages that lie in the eastern hills of Ljubljana municipality. This is a stunning region, offering splendid views across to both the Kamnik Alps and Julian Alps. The region’s two great hilltop churches of Saint Margaret in Prežganje and Saint Nicholas in Janče make wonderful foreground subjects. Here there are scenes to rival even the most popular photography locations such as Saint Thomas Church and Jamnik Church views.

The 2013 supermoon rises beside the church of Saint Marjeta (Sveta Marjeta) in Prezganje in the Jance hills to the east of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This was shot on the evening of June 22nd, the night before totality and the moon was approximately 98% full.
